Handmade in Italy, this elegant double-sided lampshade combines a refined microfibre exterior with a decorative interior made from washable upholstery fabric. The upholstery fabric features a richly detailed botanical and bird motif with flowers, branches and pomegranates, as shown in the photographs.

Each lampshade is made to order in Italy and carefully finished by hand. The pattern placement may vary slightly from one piece to another, making every lampshade unique.

The tapered shape of the lampshade and the carefully calculated fitter recess (also called fitter drop)—the distance between the shade’s top diameter/top edge and the centre of the central lamp-holder/fitter ring—are designed so that, once mounted, the lampshade structure covers and conceals the lamp holder/socket from view.
