Handmade in Italy, this elegant double-sided floral lampshade combines refined microfibre with a decorative floral fabric in two carefully coordinated combinations. The floral fabric has a textured, raw linen-look finish, as shown in the photographs.

The contrast between the smooth microfibre and the richly patterned floral fabric gives this decorative lampshade a distinctive and sophisticated character. Each lampshade is made to order in Italy and carefully finished by hand. The placement of the floral pattern may vary slightly from one piece to another, making every lampshade unique.

The tapered shape of the lampshade and the carefully calculated fitter recess (also called fitter drop)—the distance between the shade’s top diameter/top edge and the centre of the central lamp-holder/fitter ring—are designed so that, once mounted, the lampshade structure covers and conceals the lamp holder/socket from view.
