Handmade in Italy, this elegant double-sided lampshade combines refined black Alcantara with a Japanese-inspired crane pattern in 100% cotton. The two materials can be applied in either direction, creating two coordinated finishes for each of the three available shapes.

The tapered profiles and the carefully calculated fitter recess (also called fitter drop)—the distance between the shade’s upper diameter/top edge and the lamp-holder ring—are designed so that, once mounted, the lampshade structure covers and conceals the lamp holder/socket from view. The cylinder is constructed according to the same concealed-fitter principle. Please refer to Image A for a precise visual reference of how the shade structure covers the lamp holder after mounting.

Each lampshade is made to order in Italy and finished by hand. The crane pattern placement may vary slightly from one piece to another, making every lampshade unique. Please allow 5–7 business days for preparation before dispatch. The listing is for the lampshade only; lamp base, bulb and electrical fitting are not included.
